Being in compliance with the HIPAA regulations is  a complicated process and a federal requirement for covered entities (CE) and  business associates (BA). Compliance includes assuring appropriate patient rights and controls on the uses and disclosures of protected health information and having the appropriate policies in place for the Privacy Rule, the Security Rule and other regulations. It is necessary to know what is required to have an ongoing compliance program  especially with the new Privacy Rule updates in 2021.

We can provide education for management and staff which is required by federal regulation, allowing understanding of compliance requirements.  Security evaluations such as Security Risk Analysis (SRA) can be arranged as needed.  Failure to be in compliance can be very costly.
